Pala Communications, the media centre of the diocese of Palai, for effective communication of human values was started in 1996, under the patronage of His Excellency, Mar Joseph Pallickaparmbil. Fr.Thomas Kadukappilly was the first Director. He led Pala Communication for ten years. He handed over the charge to Fr.Augustine Koottiyaniyil in the year 2006. Our present Director is Fr.James Vennayippillil.
It is twelve years since we have been promoting the Christian values and spreading the good news through the communications media. We make use of every chance to encourage excellent, talented people. We give Bible based education and training.
Pala Communications conducts personality development classes for the youth and summer classes "UNARV" for the students. In the summer camp, we try to mould smart students through personality development, self discovery, creative thinking, team work, group dynamic fun and adventure.
We have arranged film appreciation courses for those interested in cinema and related subjects.
We use T.V. channels to proclaim the word of God and human values. We also arranged e media awareness programme for college lecturers. Discussions were conducted on various subjects, such as media technology, educational use of media, film appreciation etc.

In the year 2008 Pala Communications put one step forward to have a No.1 bandset troupe for performing bandmelam for festival procession and other programmes. It also stages Band-Demo-one hour stage display. All the 21 members are very professional.
